Anonymous Person- Request for You

Hello! Yes, you. I was talking to you. How are you doing? Are you doing fine? What are your thoughts? Have you been feeling sad and depressed lately? Whatever you're feeling right now, I'd like to ask you a favour: could you please smile for me? Yes, please smile. Please smile because you truly deserve to be happy.

I can't tell you how many times in my life I've felt sad and alone. I've always felt like no one was on my side, that no one would believe in me that no one would trust or love me. It's difficult for me to think that way because my mind keeps thinking that even when I'm just sitting and doing nothing "You are worthless because you are stupid. You are undeserving of anything."

One night, I was sitting in my dark room, scrolling through my social media accounts, when I came across a short video with the caption "Dear, Self." Out of curiosity, I began watching it, and the first line really struck me hard. It’s very first line was "How are you doing? Are you okay?" Then, after hearing that, tears began to fall from my eyes for an unknown reason.

I kept watching the short video while a lot of thoughts ran through my mind, causing tears to fall. It was written there before the video ended "You're constantly asking those around you how they're doing, but when was the first and last time you asked yourself how you're feeling? If you can't remember the first or last time you asked yourself this question, it's possible you haven't yet, so try it now. How are you feeling? It is natural to cry. You are free to cry as much as you want until you feel better."

Now, I'd like to ask you another favour: could you please keep that smile on your face that I asked for a while ago? Because I'm really sure you look great in it.

And I just wanted to tell you that I'm so proud of you; I know it'll seem strange to you that someone you don't know personally will say those words to you right now. But, I'm just so proud of you because, even though we're dealing with a lot of problems right now, whether it's school, work, family, or personal issues, look at you right now, look how far you've come, and look at yourself, you're still standing and fighting, and now you're still smiling, and that's just one of the reasons why I'm so proud of you.

I know I can't change your mind right now, but I just want you to know that you are worth it, that you are more than enough, and that you deserve all of life's happiness. Keep in mind that someone out there believes in you and is proud of you (that’s me).

Before I end it, I'd like to leave you with this quote: "If you don't see a miracle in your life, perhaps you are a miracle for somebody else." I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to read this entire thing and for allowing me to say those words to you. Please keep yourself safe and healthy because you are essential. I'm rooting for you. Always smile:)😊😊
