Living to Regret

Hello, it's been a while. How are you doing these days? Is everything okay with you? What have you been up to recently? Have you had a lot of thoughts running through your head in the last few days? Don't worry, you're not alone; I'm in the same boat as you.

Do you feel demotivated lately? Because of the things you've done in the past that you've come to regret.

I'm sure you're aware that you're not alone, that everyone has regrets in life.

There are two types of regrets in my case: minor and major. Tiny regrets is the name I gave it because it's the things I regret that aren't really big deals. The best example of this minor regret is when I forget to study for an upcoming exam and am then disappointed with the result. Isn't this a minor issue? But, yeah, I'm still kicking myself for not reviewing those times. The monster regrets were up next. Monster regrets is the name I gave it because I feel like these regrets are destroying the person I am every time I think about them. For example, one night when my mother called for me to come to her room, I refused because of my laziness and bad attitude, and instead chose to ignore her call, not realizing that it would be my mother's last request before she was rushed to the hospital and died. Isn't it true that if you're in my situation, you'll regret it as well? That regret was such a monster in my mind that it felt like it was destroying and killing me deep down every time it came to mind.

Is it suffocating right? Do you have same situations like mine that you also regret? I know that we’re all exhausted because of these regrets in our lives, and I know that we’re all suffocated because it feels like we’re just living in this world to regret.

Instead of thinking that way, why don't we try to find the silver lining in our regrets? I know what you're thinking; you're probably surprised after reading "silver lining in our regrets," and you're wondering, "Is there something like that?"

What if I told you right now that regrets do have a positive side?

Have you ever considered that every time you do something, you are giving it your all because you don't want to regret it later? Isn't it something we should be grateful for that we have this urged to do better because we don't want to regret it later?

Consider this: every time we regret something, we are actually improving and growing as people because we don't want to regret it in the future. We always give it our all, and we need to be satisfied with what we've accomplished in our lives. Consider regrets as lessons that are a necessary part of our life's learning process.

There's nothing wrong with regretting something; what's wrong is if we keep regretting throughout our lives. If there's something on your mind right now from the past that's bothering you, I'm pleading with you to forgive yourself. I know it's not easy, but I hope you eventually learn to forgive yourself.

We can't escape the fact that regrets are a part of our lives; what we can do is find the beauty in each regrets we have and apply the lessons we've learned from them.

Let us use our regrets to help us become better versions of ourselves.

Before I end this, I just want to let you know that you are making good decisions in life because there is no right or wrong when it comes to making decisions in life. I'm sure that before you do something, you carefully consider it, and as long as you are happy with your decision and are not harming others, you are on the right track.

Let us learn from our regrets and forgive ourselves for them in order to become a better version of ourselves. Please always choose the best option for yourself. Regrets are lessons for us to apply. 😊😊

I have so many regrets in my life, but you know it's so hard to forgive yourself. I don't know if I can do it, but thank you. I really need this right now.♡♡
