You are the Expensive One✨

Hello, it's been a long time. I apologize for not being active the last few days; I've been preparing for this upload for quite some time. How are you doing, by the way? What are your current thoughts? Are you all right? What have you been up to these past few days? Did you have a good time last week and this week? Are you happy with what you've accomplished?

I have a question for you: what comes to your mind first when you hear the word happiness? What does happiness mean to you?

This is where my understanding is incorrect; for me, happiness means someone smiling and laughing, but what I've discovered is that being happy in life is not as simple as that. Happiness, according to dictionary definitions, is a feeling of pleasure and positivity. A person is said to be "happy" when they feel good, proud, excited, relieved, or satisfied about something.

We all know what happiness is, but the big question is whether or not we apply it in our daily lives, and if so, how?

Isn't it difficult to respond to the question I've posed? It's a simple question, but we find it difficult to respond. Do you have any idea why? It's because we only understand the meaning of happiness, but we have no idea how to apply it to ourselves. We keep telling other people to smile and making them laugh for no apparent reason other than to make them happy. But why can't we do it on our own? Is it really that difficult to make yourself happy? But why is that?

I believe that the majority of people have the trait of smiling even when they are going through the saddest and most difficult times of their lives. That's why it's so difficult to believe what the naked eye sees, because I know that behind those brightest smiles on our faces lurks the blackest part of our feelings.

We prefer to show others that we are happy by flashing smiles and laughter because it is easier for us to do so than to explain what we are really thinking. We just smile even if we're crying inside, we just laugh even if we're dying inside because we think no one will understand what we're going through, and because of those feelings, some people choose to end their lives without realizing the beauty of their lives because it was obscured by the dark parts.

Why is happiness so expensive that we can't afford it? When being happy is literally free.

Okay, so my point in all of this is that being happy for yourself is not a selfish act. What is selfish is that you are happy for other people while forgetting about yourself. You are being selfish for yourself. Let us not be selfish and be proud of ourselves; happiness is free and you truly deserve it.

As I previously stated, being happy is not about smiling or laughing because you can be truly happy even if you are not smiling, even if you have a poker face or serious expression on your face, and even if you are crying because we don't need to show the entire world that we are happy because it doesn't matter, what other people think doesn't matter in our lives, what matter is you know in yourself that you are doing good, that you are contented  what life gives you, that you don’t need to reach the impregnable standards of the society, and you know how much you are worth in this life.

Let us not be satisfied with simply knowing what happiness is; instead, let us try to understand how it feels. We don't want to waste our chance to be happy, so let's make a deal with ourselves to prioritize ourselves over other people, to be happy for ourselves, and to avoid wearing that fake smile on our faces. Let us practice smiling and laughing because we are doing what makes us truly happy.

Happiness is not expensive, because you, the person who feel that happiness is the most expensive and precious thing in this world.

By the way, I miss you, I miss you seeing having smile on your face and i miss you being truly happy.:)😊😊✨
